SUBJECT MATTER OF THE CASE
The applicant, an active member of an opposition party, brought a civil action against a private TV channel for defamation. By a final decision of 24 October 2014 the Supreme Court dismissed his claims.

1. Has there been a violation of the applicant’s right to respect for his private life under Article 8 of the Convention?
