SUBJECT MATTER OF THE CASE
The application concerns the applicant’s ill-treatment during the events of April 2009, when hundreds of persons were arrested. The domestic courts found that the applicant had been ill-treated and awarded him the equivalent of 592 euros in moral damages.
The application raises an issue under Article 3 of the Convention.
QUESTION TO THE PARTIES
Has there been a breach of Article 3 of the Convention in the present case? In particular, can the applicant still claim to be a victim of such a breach, in view of the conviction of the officers which he accused of his ill‑treatment and the amount of compensation awarded by the domestic courts (see Ciorap v. Moldova (no. 2), no. 7481/06, §§ 18-25, 20 July 2010)?
