Having regard to the above application against Ukraine lodged with the Court under Article 34 of the Convention for the Protection of Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms (“the Convention”) on 21 September 2018,
Having deliberated, decides as follows:
FACTS AND PROCEDURE
The applicant, Mr Pavlo Volodymyrovych Enzovit, was born in 1994.
The applicant’s complaints under Article 6 §§ 1 and 3 (c) and (d) concerning the absence from proceedings, the right to a lawyer and the right to examine witnesses were communicated to the Ukrainian Government (“the Government”).
By letters dated 31 July and 7 October 2025, sent by registered post to the applicant’s postal address in Ternopil region, he was notified that the period allowed to designate a representative in accordance with Rule 36 § 2 of the Rules of Court, had expired on 14 April 2025 and that no extension of time had been requested. The applicant’s attention was drawn to Article 37 § 1 (a) of the Convention, which provides that the Court may strike an application out of its list of cases where the circumstances lead to the conclusion that the applicant does not intend to pursue the application. No response followed. The latest letter was returned to the Court as unclaimed. The applicant has not contacted the Court since January 2022.
THE LAW
In the light of the foregoing, and in the absence of any special circumstances regarding respect for the rights guaranteed by the Convention and the Protocols thereto, the Court, in accordance with Article 37 § 1 (a) of the Convention, considers that it is no longer justified to continue the examination of the application.
Accordingly, the case should be struck out of the list.
For these reasons, the Court, unanimously,
Decides to strike the application out of its list of cases.
