Opinion of the Advocate-General

Mr Advocate General Lenz delivered his Opinion on 12 December 1989 . (*) He concluded by proposing that the Court should reply as follows to the question submitted to it for a preliminary ruling by the cour du travail, Mons :

"It follows from Article 1(r ) of Regulation No 3 and Article 1(r ) of Regulation ( EEC ) No 1408/71 that the periods which may be treated as periods of insurance are determined solely by reference to domestic legislation ."
