om den tredje tilpasning til den tekniske udvikling af Raadets direktiv 67/548/EOEF om tilnaermelse af administrativt eller ved lov fastsatte bestemmelser om klassificering , emballering og etikettering af farlige stoffer

KOMMISSIONEN FOR DE EUROPAEISKE FAELLESSKABER HAR -
under henvisning til traktaten om oprettelse af Det europaeiske oekonomiske Faellesskab ,
under henvisning til Raadets direktiv 67/548/EOEF af 27 . juni 1967 om tilnaermelse af administrativt eller ved lov fastsatte bestemmelser om klassificering , emballering og etikettering af farlige stoffer (1) , senest aendret ved direktiv 79/831/EOEF (2) , saerlig artikel 19 , 20 og 21 , og
ud fra foelgende betragtninger :
bilag I til direktiv 67/548/EOEF indeholder en liste over farlige stoffer , der for hvert enkelt stof angiver klassificering og retningslinjer for etikettering ( faresymbol , farens art og sikkerhedsforskrifter ) ;
en gennemgang af listen over farlige stoffer har vist behovet for en tilpasning af den til den nuvaerende tekniske og videnskabelige viden , dvs. en gennemgang af klassificeringen og retningslinjerne for etikettering af visse stoffer , bedre praecisering af visse betegnelser , medtagelse af andre stoffer paa listen og yderligere oplysninger med henblik paa denne liste ;
bestemmelserne i dette direktiv er i overensstemmelse med udtalelse fra udvalget for tilpasning af direktiver til den tekniske udvikling , der tager sigte paa at fjerne de tekniske hindringer for samhandelen med farlige stoffer og praeparater -

Medlemsstaterne vedtager og offentliggoer inden den 31 . december 1982 de bestemmelser , der er noedvendige for at efterkomme dette direktiv , og underretter straks Kommissionen herom . De anvender disse bestemmelser senest fra den 1 . juli 1983 .
