SUBJECT MATTER OF THE CASE
The application concerns the domestic courts’ refusal to find that certain statements about the applicants in a video aired on a private TV channel affected their reputation. It raises an issue under Article 8 of the Convention.
QUESTION tO THE PARTIES
Has there been a breach of Article 8 of the Convention in the present case? In particular, did the courts carry out a proper assessment of the facts so as to strike a faire balance between the media’s freedom of expression and the applicants’ right to protection of their reputation (see, for instance, Petrenco v.
