QUESTIONS TO THE PARTIES
1. What implications, if any, does the Amendment to the Act on the Treatment of Infertility and Procedures of Biomedically Assisted Procreation (Zakon o spremembah in dopolnitvah Zakona o zdravljenju neplodnosti in postopkih oploditve z biomedicinsko pomočjo (ZZNPOB-A)), which was adopted on 18 June 2025, have for the applicants’ prospect of prolonging the storage of their embryos or exporting them to an authorised medical institution in Estonia or another country?
2. Once the aforementioned amendment enters into force, can the applicants initiate a procedure with a view to prolonging the storage of their embryos and to exporting them to an authorised medical institution in Estonia or another country, and under what conditions?
