Excessive length of criminal proceedings must have caused applicant pecuniary damage and definitely caused him non-pecuniary damage – sum awarded.

B.Costs and expenses

Reimbursement of amount claimed, less sum paid as legal aid.

Conclusion: Respondent State to pay the applicant specified sums (unanimously).
