SUBJECT MATTER OF THE CASEs
The applicants, who are currently serving prison sentences in correctional colony IK-2 of Zabaykalskiy Region, allege that they are being subjected to pressure by the administration of the above facility in connection with their complaints about the conditions of their post‑conviction detention raised in separate applications and communicated to the respondent Government.
QUESTIONS tO THE PARTIES
In the light of the applicants’ claims and the evidence which has been submitted, has there been any hindrance by the State with the effective exercise of the applicants’ right of application, ensured by Article 34 of the Convention? In particular:
(a) Did the acting head of IK-2 of Zabaykalskiy Region Mr A.A., the head of the operative division of IK-2 of Zabaykalskiy Region Mr A.K. or any other official exercise pressure on Mr M. Rogoza to withdraw his application (no. 41822/16) to the Court? Why was Mr M. Rogoza summoned to meet with the above officials on 25 October and 26 October 2016?
(b) Did any official of IK-2 of Zabaykalskiy Region, directly or through other convicts serving their sentences in IK-2, exercise pressure on Mr V. Sablin to withdraw his applications (nos. 24584/15 and 40467/16) to the Court?
