SUBJECT MATTER OF THE CASE
The application concerns the alleged unfairness of criminal proceedings concerning a stampede at the nightclub “West Balkán” on 15 January 2011. The final judgment was adopted on 12 April 2013 and served on the applicant’s lawyer on 3 June 2013.
QUESTION tO THE PARTIES
Did the applicant have a fair hearing in the determination of the criminal charge against him, in accordance with Article 6 § 1 of the Convention? In particular, was the principle of equality of arms respected? Was the tribunal which dealt with the applicant’s case impartial, as required by Article 6 § 1 of the Convention?
