The present case concerns the conviction of the applicant as a result of a false accusation of a police officer.

1. Has there been an interference with the applicant’s freedom of expression, in particular his right to impart information, within the meaning of Article 10 § 1 of the Convention? (see Marinova and Others v. Bulgaria, nos. 33502/07 and 3 others, 12 July 2016; Marin Kostov v. Bulgaria, no. 13801/07, §§ 40–51, 24 July 2012; and Kazakov v. Russia, no. 1758/02, 18 December 2008).
2. If so, was that interference prescribed by law and necessary in terms of Article 10 § 2? Was the interference proportionate to a legitimate aim?
